A BIG thank-you to Laura, Ann and Diane for putting on a great event on Saturday night even with the rain storms. A separate email will follow on this event.
Luau Information:
If you have not already responded to the evite, please do so by Wednesday so we can get a strong head count for the food purchases. The weather is looking pretty good for next weekend with the highs in the low 80's. We have the group campsite for the entire weekend starting Friday and going through Sunday at 3pm. We already have volunteers that will be taking the supplies over on Friday morning/afternoon. If you are around Friday morning, please find Chesley and the others to help out.
If anyone would like to volunteer to set up games for the kids or adults please let us know. We will have the volleyball set up along with a couple of sets of corn hole boards and some others that people have talked about bringing.
If you are planning on camping or you have guests that plan on camping, remind them that there is no electricity at the group camping. There is no charge for anyone planning on camping, but it is a first come, first pick your spot.
We do ask that each non-member guest contribute $5 (as in years past) towards the food and bring a dish to share.
Campfire wood: If anyone has any extra wood sitting around their house, please bring it for the bonfire on Saturday night. This has always been a great time sitting around talking and laughing after a great meal.
Don't forget to bring your side dish and a chair to sit it and your beverage of choice. The club will be providing 2 cases of bottled water. Please do remember that this is a park so cups will be on hand for use.
