I know I am ready for some sunshine and the rain to stop. The lake came up at least a foot and a half over the weekend. It is above 304 as of this morning.
Friday night started off with a few of us playing a few games of cornhole before a new boat was delivered at night. There is now another SeaRay 340 Sundancer on B dock. We hope that they will join the club. Thanks to Dan and Patricia for helping the new owners get the boat off the trailer and into the slip while Jeff, Laura and I helped at the dock. It is never easy coming into a new place at night but with all the help that was given all was good.
Saturday the rain came and went most of the day. Several boat did end up going out for the afternoon and enjoyed a day on the lake. Several stayed at the dock and did boat maintenance and a few ladies even took control of a dinghy and created parties all over the marina.
Other news around the dock was that Rick and Jodi Morris sold Muddy Waters. We hope they find their new boat soon and are able to be back at the lake soon.
Sunday ended up being a pretty nice day even with the
rain showers that popped up in the afternoon.
Next weekend is Lake Fest in Clarksville. By the
talk on the dock there will be several boats heading up Friday afternoon/evening. Below is a link to give you the schedule of events for the festival. It has always bee a fun time in the past and we hope to see you there.
