SCYC Members,
I want to extend a big thank you to Dave Rock for another successful Chili Cook-Off, last Saturday! This year's event held true to its reputation cause it WAS a chilly night and as always, the chili was YUMMMMY! Thank goodness for Dave and Helen, who brought their big heater and to the guys who put up and took down the gazebo enclosures, cause it kept us all warm while we filled our bellies.
And the votes are in....congratulations to the winners of the 2015 Chili Cook-Off! They are, (in no particular order): Denise Allen, Bobette Eckland, Kim Thompson and Dave Rock!
Don't forget this weekend's 2015 Brass Balls Sail, hosted by Doug Miller, on January 31st. Group photo at 11 am. Sailing commences at high noon. Keep in mind, if you don't want to take your boat out, you can always sign up to crew.
Our Spring Business Meeting is scheduled for March 14th at the Glass House, Henderson Point. Invitations will be sent out approx. late February so keep an eye out for it. We'll have lots to discuss and Don Courtney's putting together another great breakfast!
