Saturday started off warm but the wind began to pick up and after some boat projects by some, several boats headed out for the day. The sailboats that went out said it wa sa great day of sailing. Wind was blowing 10 to 15 with some higher at times. A few boats rafted up for the afternoon and ate dinner and watched a great sunset.
Sunday was another great day to be on the water. The wind was great, not as strong as Saturday but still great. It was said that "it had to be the best sailing day of the year so far."
Next weekend people are planning on going to Clarksville. Please let Meryl know if you plan on going up, either by boat or by car, for dinner. This way she can make reservations if needed.
There were also conversations about the fall meetng and what to do for food. Looking for something different to do and Chicken and Waffles came up. Do you have a waffle maker that you can bring? If so, please let me know. We are looking to get as many as possible to set up stations to make your own waffle.
